Hello,

I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to DMC EYE, the students and the amazing teachers and staff who constantly and continually create wonderful opportunities for learning, empathy and mentorship.

My name is Leilani Esteban and I am the mother of "James Boy", your article brought tears to my eyes. I am overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and support that DMCI has given to our family. I wanted you to know that as James continues to receive treatment for his cancer, he will be constantly reminded of the people who prayed for him and sent him their positive thoughts and well wishes.

Please know that with every smile and laugh that James graces us with is a sign that there is someone out there thinking of him. James is smiling and laughing a lot these days and I can only surmise that they come from the love and support from the people around us.

I want to express my deepest and most sincere thanks and gratitude for all that DMC EYE, the students, the administrators, staff and those special teachers who went above and beyond... thank you for hope, strength and faith.

THE WHOLE FAMILY of 'James BOY'

I was looking at the dmci website and was absolutely thrilled to see such musical, creative, and talented students at my old high school. I graduated in 1979 and had many great teachers who inspired me to do many great things since grade 12. I am glad to see dmci's legacy is still going strong! The video was very heart warming. Thanks!
